So True
Her latest entry is about broken hearts. I'm not a broken-hearted person because I've never been in a relationship yet. And I think I'm still too young for it. Haha. =)
As always, I agree with Bianca. I can relate to her blog as I look at it with a different point of view. For me, it doesn't only focus on broken hearted people who lost wonderful relationships with their dear loved one. I think, it is also applicable to some situations regarding relationships with friends and family, and even stuff connected with school...that is why I can relate with her.
According to her, when you feel broken hearted, "no advice said to you will make you feel better...hugs will comfort you, concerned texts will make you smile, but no amount of advice will make you feel better...unless you decide to let it make you feel better." This is so true. I experienced this when I was in third year highschool. My friends made an attempt to comfort me because I wasn't one of the merit awardees that year. It was my first time and I really felt bad. Some of their advices even made me feel worse because I felt irresponsible, though some of them gave me inspiration and strength to do better next time. Like what she said, "Of the hundred cliche lines thrown at you at an attempt to make you feel better...there will be a few lines a few major lines that will speak to you and touch your heart and soothe your soul. Those pieces of advice, you hold on to." On the other hand, I like the way she said about prayer and God...that God can heal broken all things broken, including our heart. "...when your heart is peaceful, give thanks. When your heart is troubled, still give thanks and ask for deliverance. When your heart is shattered into a million pieces, still give thanks, and ask that you may learn whatever life lesson it is that He wants you to learn. In both high and low, give thanks, because it is one of the surest things in life that God only works for the good of those who love Him." Yes, prayer really works. I also realized that God made us feel this way, not because He wanted us to feel miserable, but to let us see more good things beyond whatever made us feel sad, and to think positive too. It is not yet the end of the world. Our broken hearts may not be healed at a fast rate of time, but it will heal...soon. Healing takes time. And don't forget to remember, there's still a rainbow after every storm. =) When it comes to moving on, she said, "...go through it. Go and let it out. Cry before you sleep, cry when you wake up, cry in the bathroom, cry to your friends...make senti all you want. Do it all. Don't let anybody stop you... I know you feel that it won't, that the day you will be okay will never come, but it will. have faith, it will". Again, this is so true. Going back to my story when I was in third year, as far as my memory was concerned, I cried one whole week because I couldn't get over it. I really cried my heart out then after that week, I felt better and happier. Now, it only remains as a part of my highschool life...my highschool memories.
Through this experience and Bianca Gonzales' blog, I learned three important lessons in life: Never give up. Think positive. And always have faith and trust in God. =)
Good afternoon everyone! Thank you for reading! =)

The Funny Miracle
Anyway, the first paragraph is just an introduction because I feel that my entry today is related to miracles. Well, at least for my aunties, what I've done today is a miracle. Haha. This is not really a big deal for me but for them, it is. Haha. Okay, I just cleaned my room. Haha. That's the miracle. And for them, cleaning my room is a miracle because during the school year, according to them, my room looks like a jungle or a maze. Also, based from what I've heard, whoever enters my room will be lost. Haha. Ganoon daw kagulo ang room ko. Exaggerated naman. Haha. But now, I think, nobody will be lost because I arranged my things already. =) Auntie Sari even told me, "Magpapa-fiesta ako kasi naglinis ka ng room mo. Good job!" Okaaaay auntie. Haha. Very funny. Haha. =)
Well hey, I do clean my room especially when there's nothing to do. Haha. But sometimes, I get too lazy to clean it because I'd rather surf the net or watch TV. Haha. Like what Ayeen said, "Buhay Bum". *sigh* Right now, I want to go to Disneyland. I really do. Huhu.
Enjoy your summer people! =)

Please, Let Me Explode Only for Today...Thank You..
Okaaayyy. I'm really getting tired of hearing about my chubbiness. I know I'm chubby...and I'm aware that I'm becoming chubbier each day. Please, please, please, stop reminding me about it. I'm really really feeling bad about myself na because you keep on telling me about my physical appearance. It also makes me feel bad when you compare me to some slim people who look like models. I know it's not bad to tell me about it. Actually, there's nothing wrong but as in everytime you see me...oh my. Kulang nalang umiyak na ako sa harapan niyo because of what you're telling me almost everyday. I don't even eat breakfast recently, and sometimes I don't eat rice at dinner because I'm aware and conscious na. I just smile to hide my emotions inside. Sometimes I make fun of myself nalang and imagine I look like a siopao or a monay. Haha. Tell me, honestly, what do you want me to do? That is why I miss going to school as well because every morning, I walk to go to school since the dorm where I'm staying is just near it. Walking is my only way of exercising to burn the fats inside my body or rather tummy. I think I should do more exercises and walking since we have enough space here at home to do such stuff, right? Probably that will make you happy. Haaaayyyy naku. Oh well, I'm sorry because I can't help it. Some people are going beyond the limits already, and I think this is the right time to be...uhm...like this. I hope you understand. I'm doing my best to be slim, okaaayyy? Too bad I wasn't able to borrow my friend's Hip Hop Abs dvd. Someone borrowed it na pala. *sigh* On the brighter side, I'm trying to smile now to get rid of wrinkles. I don't want to look very old at my age. Haha. Yikeee, Danadoo! This is the spirit! Haha.
Good night everyone and thank you for sharing your precious time reading my sentiments! =)

***(The End)***
This is really a "kilig-to-the-bones" moment. Haha. Okay, it's corny. Haha. But it is totally a kilig moment. Haha. Robi! Robi! Robi! Haha. It's really nice to have some fun chat with Audrey. I really miss her. If you, by any chance, spend some time with her, I tell you, you'll never be bored. Believe me. =) Thank you Audrey. I had a fun time chatting with you yesterday. See you soon! *hug* =)

We are Survivors
So for my fellow students who are now enjoying the time of their lives this summer, Happy Vacation! Cheers! =)
***
I'm a Survivor
I know it sounds familiar because you probably heard this title from the Destiny's Child hit song, "Survivor". Anyway, I would like to share with you that I passed all of my subjects with flying colors! Yay! I made it! Hooray! Haha. Despite everything, I'm still in the state of shock. Seriously and honestly, I'm quite surprised! I couldn't believe it! Because of this, like what I realized in my other previous blog entry, I realized that my late night sleeps, cramming, and procrastinating are worth it. I still belong in the list! =) People, I'm very happy to announce that I end my so-called "agony" today. Haha. On the other hand, I think that I deserve the pizza treat from Ocha. Haha. Thank you Ocha! Thank you God too for this wonderful blessing! =)

Tomorrow: Doom's Day
Oh well, I'm hoping but not expecting too much. I trust God and whatever the results are, I would accept them whole-heartedly. As for now, what makes me really excited is the pizza treat of Ocha tomorrow after getting the course cards at Yellow Cab in Taft Avenue, infront of the school. Yay! I wish I deserve the pizza treat though. Haha. =)
By the way, I had my hair cut last Saturday. My hair is so much shorter and I think, I look like a walking siopao or monay. Haha. Anyway, that's life. Haha. See you all soon! =)

This is my new short hair. I look like a siopao/monay right? Haha.

Isang Pagbabalik

Miss Hyper
I've been telling you almost everyday that I have a lot of school works to do, like portfolios. So, I went to school this morning to submit everything. I stayed up late, until in the wee hours of the morning, just to finish my ECEDSED porfolio. I also tried to finish my Persef porfolio, but unfortunately, I fell asleep while doing it (I finished it in school). So anyway, when I learned that these portfolios are due tomorrow, I really felt...surprised. In my planner, I wrote there that these porfolios are due today. Haha. Weird. Does it mean I'm not listening to our professor? Haha. Oh well. At least I'm done with everything. I submitted everything. Does it seem I'm excited to submit these porfolios? Haha. My friend is right. I'm "Miss Hyper". (He called me once Ms. Hyper...haha) I only need to worry about our Statlit finals on Thursday (surely, it is on Thursday...haha) and our course-card distribution on Friday and on the 16th. =) Yay! =)
I learned something today: My procrastination and cramming are worth it. And I hope I'll get a good grade. Haha. Sineryoso ko talaga ang paggawa ng mga portfolios na ito. =)
Good night everyone! =)

And the Best Procrastinator- Crammer Award Goes to...
I was totally drained last Thursday because I took FACLERN finals. It was our group's choice because we wanted to get a higher and better grade. So, I studied on the day itself and I forgot how I survived the exam. Haha. I felt bad too because I forgot to put that "when children perform good in school, they become more motivated to study well, which may result to becoming more competent with their classmates too..." in my write-up. Geez, I only remembered it on my way home. Sad. Additional points pa naman un. Sayang talaga. Haha. I came home late (from Manila to Laguna) because I finished the exam at around 7pm. I arrived here at around 8:30pm, ate dinner fastly, then did my reflection for ECEDSED final paper on the last minute because Mau told me to email it by 9-10pm. Whew. Beat that! Haha. Then last Friday, I almost forgot to email Mye about our individual reflection for ECEDLOG. I also did that on the last minute before 9pm. Good thing Danielle told me that she's still online so I sent it to her thru YM. Wow...if there's an award for the best procrastinator or crammer, I think, I deserve it. Haha.
Okay, this is all for today. I'll try to sleep early so I could wake up early tomorrow and do my portfolios. I really have to finish them before 6pm tomorrow. And oh, I have to study for Statlit finals too. Oh my. Haha. =) Good night! Ciao! =)

This will be Good-bye...
***
Mr. Loyalty, (and if you're reading this), thank you for everything. I'm letting you go now. I have nothing against you because you had been good to me, in a way. I'm also thanking God for giving me this chance to know you. You're one of the best gifts He has given me. I don't feel any bitterness, because I already learned to accept that you and I are not really meant for each other. I realized that this is the right thing to do, and this is good for the both of us. Let's keep the good memories and forget about the bad ones. I'm sorry if I hurt you emotionally.
I believe, this will be a good-bye...my last good-bye. If ever, by any chance, we'll see each other again...things will never be the same [again]. Stay happy always, take good care of her, and God bless you!
***P.S. This will be my last post about you, Mr. Loyalty.***

The Blue Archer
Oh well. This is just a thought...I wanted to be an Atenean too, though. However, I wouldn't give up my La Salle dream just because in my course, we have a lot of observations and things to do. Ang hirap ng pinagdaanan ko bago ako maging Lasalista. Haha. And, I'm happy in La Salle...so why transfer, right? Because of my course in La Salle, I feel that I'm going back to my childhood again. Fun! Fun! Fun! =)

Coffee Princess
Last Monday, I went home (dorm) early because I wanted to study for our chemistry quiz. Maggie and I didn't meet as we usually do because she also had to do a school work. When Joy arrived, she told me that she's going to Starbucks because Ell gave her something and she wanted to use it. It was like a Starbucks promo. Anyway, because I wasn't in the mood to study yet, I decided to go with her since I haven't visited the Starbucks branch in Taft Avenue. The coffee scented shop was really tempting. I wanted to buy a mocha frap! However, I controlled myself because I'm saving my allowance to buy something I really want to have. While waiting for Joy's coffee, I saw the different brochures near the cashier area. Since I didn't buy anything, I got every brochure. Joy jokingly said, "Dana, baka gusto mo rin kumuha ng mga sugar? Haha". I said, "Di na Joy, di ko naman kailangan ng sugar eh. Haha. Ito nalang mga brochures. Para kahit hindi ako bumili ng something, masasabi na galing akong Starbucks. Libre pa! O di ba? Haha." (while showing her the brochures)
Before studying for chemistry, I looked at the brochures from Starbucks. My jaw dropped when I realized that I accidently got an application form. I felt lucky because I wanted to apply there for a summer job. Unfortunately, I suddenly remembered what Ocha said before, that they're only accepting applicants who are 18 years old and above. I'm not yet 18! I still have seven months to wait before I turn 18. Oh well, I'll try my luck. I'd visit the Starbucks in Paseo in Sta. Rosa, Laguna and inquire before our "short" vacation ends. Haha. I'm really hoping and keeping my fingers crossed. *sigh* =)

An Apple a Day...
Perhaps, I am inspired by what I have read because the articles are very much related to my course, which is Early Childhood Education. The special issue of APP talks about the social issues and concerns of the schools in our country today, such as the quality of education for both public and private schools, tuition fees, the so- called “world class standards”, fraternities and sororities, gifted- children, and the like. The whole content of the issue for this month is very informative because it helps students like me, particularly in our college, the College of Education, to be aware of what is currently happening in the world of education. For this reason, by being aware, we can apply what we have learned in school (the theories, etc.) and can possibly make a difference in the lives of our fellow Filipinos.
People! I’m excited to share with you my microteaching experience I had a while ago in our PTEACH class. However, I really have to go to sleep because I still have classes tomorrow. I would grab this opportunity because it only happens once in a blue moon. I’ll tell you about it next time. Good bye and good night! =)

Reality Bites
I'm done doing my final paper for PTEACH 1 and the instructional material for FSTUDY2 (actually, I recycled the material. Haha. Lo and I will submit the puzzle I made last term for ECEDPRN. Haha.) but there are a lot of things to be accomplished such as my microteaching presentation together with the lesson plan, the papers (note: the PAPERS) for ECEDSED due next week, the game for STATLIT, and the reporting- final requirement for FACLERN. In addition to that, me and my classmates have to study for our finals in ECEDSED, STATLIT, and chemistry. So much to do, less time to work. Hassle. Haay.
Okay, I have to say good bye! I will do what I can do today since I'm in the mood to do these stuff. I'll update as soon as I'm finished and done with everything. =) Enjoy your vacation people and Happy Easter! =)

Changing for the Better
I want to change the way I am when it comes to academics and school. No more laziness and manyana habit. Yes to hardworking, being dedicated to my studies, doing what I can do for today, and being a fast "mover". Good bye to insecurities and sensitiveness. It's not about being a nerd. I want to have a life too, you know. Haha. I'm changing for the better because I want to achieve my dreams, such as becoming a pre-school teacher, being successful in the near future, and being able to travel around the world. =)

Good-bye Goldie! Good-bye Bubbles!
*Now let's go to the brighter side...I dreamt about the person whom I admire two nights ago (actually, he always appears in my dreams now). In my dream, he's with a girl and they're super sweet. The girl is beautiful and they look good together. Waa! In reality, when I see him, he's always alone (that is...only by himself...no girl/s beside him) but I think...he likes someone. Yes, he likes someone and I feel that she's as beautiful as the girl I saw in my dream! Waa! In addition to that, I dreamt about him last night too...he just walked by. Cutie. Haha. Waa!*

One Big Truth is All We Need
Ever since Jun Lozada entered in the picture of Philippine politics, many have raised their eyebrows and asked themselves, “Who is this man?” Nobody knows him from the start, but now, he is more popular than Marimar and other teleserye characters in the primetime television. He is the most controversial and most- talked about person in the town today besides his opponent, Ben Abalos. He is “The Star Witness” of the ZTE scandal that involves our president, Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo.
I was surprised when I saw the La Sallian Brothers on TV especially Brother Armin, the President of the La Sallian community in the Philippines. I began to wonder: What are they doing there, in the senate, of all places in the Philippines? I never knew that Lozada is a fellow La Sallian because he studied in La Salle Greenhills when he was still younger. The brothers are protecting him because right now, his life is in danger. He asked the brothers to help him because he knows he could count on them, especially in times like this. That is why the whole La Sallian community, is affected by this controversy. Now I know why we always have prayer vigils every night after class at the Amphitheatre. We are only just praying for the truth and nothing more.
One big truth is all we need. I hope the whole truth will come out soon…and I’m also wishing that people would stop going to EDSA to have another People Power. Well hey, aren’t you guys getting tired of going to EDSA? If you could think of other ways to express your love and concern for our country, it would be much better. Three EDSA People Powers are enough okay?
*By the way, please watch TV Patrol tomorrow because the guys from ABS-CBN news and current affairs will be covering the campaign for the truth of the De La Salle University- Manila, College of St. Benilde and St. Scholastica’s College- Manila students. Please support our campaign. Let’s all be united. Let’s all be ONE for the truth. Thank you!*

*By the way, I changed the song in my blog again. The title is One in a Million by Miley Cyrus. She also sang If We Were a Movie, the previous song. Ibabalik ko ulit ang If We Were a Movie...hindi ko lang alam kung kailan. Sa ngayon, One in a Million muna. =)*

Bitter-Sweet Like the Candy in the Street
Monday, February 11, 2008
Hmmm...What If?
If CED were to be an object, it would be a puzzle. In CED, there are issues and concerns that need to be resolved. The people in the college aren’t united yet. There are still empty spaces that serve as a barrier to each and everyone. Like a puzzle, in order to be called a REAL puzzle, it should be complete. The pieces of the puzzle fill the empty spaces to close the gap among each individual. There shouldn’t be any missing piece. There shouldn’t be one being left behind. When these pieces are already together, they become connected and united, thus producing a wonderful masterpiece.
So this is my reason. I know I can’t be a part of the student council because I feel I don’t have the potential to be a leader. However, if I were to be given a chance to run for a particular position, I would accept it. Oh well, this is my chance to come out of my shell and become a more active student right? This is my chance to fully overcome my shyness. In this way, I can prove something that is beyond the expectations of others; it is like a surprise. I would try my very best to serve my fellow La Sallians. Like what most of the candidates say, a leader serves the people; not the people serve the leader. If I would have my own RTR someday, after saying my script, I would always tell them one thing: I may have a small voice…but I can make a BIG difference. Wow, enough said. And back to my ECEDSED review. Haha. =)

Daydreaming...
I'm singing this song with my band infront of an audience. While singing, I can see my crush sitting in the front seat looking at me. It doesn't mean that he likes me too. He's just there to support me and my band. Because I'm afraid to tell him what I feel, I'll say it through this song. Definitely, he won't get the idea that I like him...but singing this song makes me feel better...because through singing, I can express what I feel... especially, my feelings towards him...
If we were a movie...you'd be the right guy...and i'd be the bestfriend you'd fall in love with in the end..
Oh well, they say that it's free to daydream. I'm just happy. He makes my day happy...*blush* =)
Bye!!! Good day!!! And...always think about happy thoughts to be happy!!! =)
My Experience with the Theresians
This is my first time to experience an alumni homecoming. It is super duper fun! Well, I'm looking forward to celebrating an alumni homecoming with my fellow Scholasticans in the future. I hope that everybody will be there to celebrate and enjoy that wonderful day, reminiscing the unforgettable experiences we have had together in St. Scho. Ora et Labora. That in all things, God may be glorified!

Hit Me Britney One More Time
It is not a surprise for famous people who get involved into a controversy. News about marriage, divorce, annulment, teenage pregnancy, drug addiction, death, and their private lives are so endless and common. Since Britney belongs to the Pop Royal Family in the world of entertainment, she has no escape from it. And because of these controversies, Britney's life became horrible.
I thought that her relationship with Justin Timberlake would stay forever. I was indeed happy for them. They really looked good together and by looking at their eyes, they seemed that they loved each other. After being together for so many years, they broke up. Poor Justin. Poor Britney. She seemed desperate about her life after Justin. She french-kissed Madonna during the MTV awards. That was very yucky, disappointing, and alarming. She married her old friend but filed a divorce within the 24 hours of their marriage. Her videos showed how affected she was because they were so...not so good. She was not the Britney that I used to know and like. That was why, I didn't buy her album after she released In the Zone. I began to dislike her specially when she got married to Kevin Federline, the father of their two children. She even took drugs. Her actions were very disturbing and she was very high. She wasted her life and her career. Because of what she did, she slowly became mentally crazy. She even hid her son from her husband just because she didn't want him to be near the child. Poor Britney.
Like her fellow pop star, Lindsay Lohan, she is always in and out of the rehab center. She is put there to change her life. Because of her very traumatic experiences [in her life], she is always the bulls eye of the paparazzi. They are interested in her and wherever she goes, there are always cameras around, taking pictures of her. Respecting one's own privacy isn't in the vocabulary of those paparazzis.
I agree with my friend when she said something about Britney. Well, she may be mentally crazy but her confidence while performing doesn't show that she is really mentally crazy. In fact, she seems "normal". I'm not saying that I'm beginning to be a fan of hers again, but I think she is amazing and pretty in her latest video, Piece of Me. The way she dances in that video...it's just incredible. That video is better than Gimme More. Haha. Maybe, Piece of Me is better because it is about the experiences that she is going through. Despite her situation right now, she still manages to perform well and do her best. Well, I hope that she'd change her life now. Come on, this girl has a talent. It's a pity if she doesn't change her life, right? Honestly, I miss the old Britney. I hope she comes back. =)
*If you want to see Britney's latest video, just watch MTV, Myx, or any music channels to see for yourself. You may also visit youtube.com *

It is Time
Last Monday, I surprised not only myself but my friends as well. In school, there is a program called L.E.A.P which is an alternative class for February 12. When Mau told me about the program, I was super excited because I felt that this is my chance to be discovered by the badminton varsity. Well, I'm not really a good badminton player but I would love to join the team. So, I went to the EDTECH room to enroll. Unfortunately, when I clicked the button for the badminton workshop, I had no slot. It was already very full and it was still morning. Our group was divided this time. Mau, Tricia, and the others enrolled in the hip-hop dance; Lo signed in the modeling program; I'm not really sure if Kat enrolled in the crafts, although I asked her. I just forgot. Haha. Meanwhile, Icca, Ocha, and Cheska enrolled in the basketball program. What about me? Okay, I'll tell you. A lot of people were surprised when I told them that I joined the basketball program as well. Yes, that is true. I enrolled in the basketball program. They were really nodding their heads in disbelief as if I was lying. Haha. They even thought that I was only joking. But I said firmly, "Yes, I enrolled in the basketball program". Honestly, I don't know anything about basketball. But I think that this is the right time to learn a new sport. Who knows, in the future, I would be the next Ty Tang. Haha. Of course, I'm just kidding. =) Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning basketball. I think, I would love it too as much as I love playing volleyball and badminton.
The Wanderer
Every Monday and Wednesday, I don't usually go home at the dorm right after dismissal. I always stay there until six thirty or quarter to seven. Mondays are scheduled for meeting with my bestfriend and we just wander around the campus...talking and sharing stuff, while Wednesdays are "devoted" to my never ending quest for Enchong Dee. Haha. In case you don't know Enchong, he is the guy in the latest Close- Up commercial who rides a motorcycle blowing, I think, fire. Haha. He actually looks gorgeous in person and he is really very stunning. Waaa. Sadly, I don't see him, while my friends always see him. They would always text me whenever they see Enchong Dee! Or, they will share their encounters with him around the campus. It's really sad. Some of them took pictures of him and saved them in their cellphones, then they'll show me. By the way, the recent picture of him was taken yesterday while buying siomai in Brother Connon Canteen. He's wearing green cap, green shirt, maong shorts, and red rubbershoes. Well, I think, he still has a Christmas hang-over. Haha. Anyway, I hope to see him before the school year ends. This last term for this school year is the best time to see Enchong Dee! Haha. =)
It's Nice to See You Again
While waiting for my time to go to Andrew lobby to look for Enchong, I accidentally saw an old friend in school. Actually, he's not studying in our school, but in the school nearby ours. He was just there to play basketball with his friends. Anyway, I was not expecting to see him. I was really surprised when I saw him twice this month in school. I didn't greet him when I first saw him and I felt guilty. Haha. Anyway, during our second meeting, I greeted him na. Hmmm. Message for you: I'm happy to see you there! At last, nagkita na rin tayo bago matapos ang school year. Hope to see you around! =) *you know who you are...haha.*

The Dream of a Sporty Girl Wannabe
I talked to one of my blockmate-friend about my dream, which is joining the badminton varsity. I told her that it's my dream eversince I learned how to play the sport, and I liked it very much. It was surprising to hear that she also wanted to join the team because she likes to play it as well. I was very glad because I wouldn't be alone, if ever the team accepted me.
Right now, I'm having a very big dilemma.
I don't know if I would still join the team, after seeing the team having their training yesterday. I don't know if I could do what they can do. I don't know if I could hit the shuttle-cock as hard as they do. I don't know if I would survive their team.
But what about my dream? If I join, there would be a lot of benefits such as decreasing the amount of my tuition fee, which makes my aunt and father very happy, as expected. If I'm an athlete, I would get free tickets and a special seat ( like Upper A) in Araneta, during the season of UAAP. I would have the chance to travel inside and outside the Philippines to compete and represent the school. On the other hand, if I'm already a member, there are trainings in the morning (5:30 or earlier) and in the evening after school hours (6:00 onwards). OMG. I can't wake up very early in the morning and I don't want to stay up late in school.
Oh well. I guess, I really have to think about it. What do you think?

My Own Countdown...The Seven Blessings from the Year of the Pig
The year 2007 has been a fruitful one for me. I call this year my "lucky year". Why lucky year? Because the year of the pig has been good to me. I always keep in mind what my aunties tell me: Count your blessings. Since the two biggest networks in the country usually have their yearend special, I would also do the same. I would have my own yearend special. But, this one is different, because I will count down the blessings that I've received this year. Here are the seven blessings:
7.) New Clothes
6.) New Gadgets
5.) High School Graduation
6.) Graduation Song Composition
5.) Reunion with my Grade School Friends
4.) Getting Good Grades in La Salle
3.) Meeting New Peers
2.) My La Salle Dream
1.) My Family is still complete and I have nice people around me
See...there are a lot of things to be thankful for. I'm really thankful!!! Thank you very much!!! Haha. To all of you...Happy, happy New Year!!! May you have a blessed and fruitful year ahead. And never forget to count all your blessings!!! Take care people!!! =)

My Christmas This Year
Since we were only few, the laughter and the stories were few as well. Our yearly family "pictorial" didn't seem like one because there were only two cameras--- mine and Ate Lilian's. Before, there were a lot of cameras and the pictorials really took a lot of time. I was also disappointed because my cousins from Canada weren't with us. They celebrated Christmas in Quezon City with one of my aunts who is sick. I understood the situation, but I wished they were here instead of being there. My other cousins who live in the other side of Quezon City didn't come for Christmas too. They went to Bacolod to celebrate Christmas there. :'( The only thing that didn't change was, me running out of English words while talking to Luisa and Cente. Haha. :D
Anyway, I hope that next year we are complete. Christmas is not the same without them. And, they missed a lot delicious foods such as lechon, crab, kare-kare, fried chicken, and the yap-yap (small shrimps). Haha.
Before I end this entry, I would like to share with you some of the pictures taken last Christmas: (I also uploaded pictures in friendster and multiply)

Before I Sleep Tonight...
Okay, I only have thirty minutes left before I go up to my room and sleep on my bed. You know, even if I'm at home, I still have a curfew. It sounds like c-o-r-n-y, but I have to follow the rule as long as I live here. So, I will go straight to the point, because time is running out.
I love writing new stuff that's why I have my blogs. Like what I said to a previous entry, this is my outlet to express what I think and feel. It is possible that people can see and read my blogs because, hey, this is internet, if you know what I mean. It is wonderful to share thoughts with each other and it is nice to know others who have the same idea as you. I'm just thinking about what my cousin said the last time we've seen each other. Well, she has a point. Let's be careful when we share our thoughts, especially when writing (or typing rather) blogs. We should know our limitations. Don't add and meet people whom you're not connected with. Oh well, when it comes to adding a celebrity, it's a different case. Haha. I turned down some friend requests from people whom I don't know in Friendster. I only accept friend requests that come from people whom I have connection, and of course, from the ones I know personally. This may sound like a cliche, but let's keep in mind what our parents usually tell us before: "Don't talk to strangers". I'm not saying that it's bad to meet new peers. But I think, it is definitely better to meet new friends in person, not thru chatrooms, friendster, or other websites in the cyberspace. So please, be careful. Don't take a risk, because you might not know what would happen. Good night! Ciao! =)

A Writer's Block and Totally Random Thoughts
Sunday, December 16, 2007
Awww...*sigh*
Well, there's one thing that I've realized here. Christmas is meaningful and happy even without expensive gifts, the material things such as new dress and new shoes, and delicious foods. I'm not saying that having those is bad. Of course, it's fine because, honestly, it's wonderful to have something new for Christmas. My point is, even if without those things around, at least you're with the ones you love and you spend this special day together, it's okay. No matter what, as long as you're together, everything will be alright. =)

Takbo! Takbo! Takbo!
Hahaha.

What Have I Done?
After the mass, at home, I told my mother jokingly yet nicely that she should take care of my father and hug him too because the priest said so in the homily. The priest has a point and in my opinion, he's right. When I told mama these words, I didn't mean anything bad. Is it bad to remind or tell our parents that giving a warm and sincere hug makes someone feel better? Well, I think, in my mother's case, yes, it's bad. She got upset (or maybe angry). She said that she's not that showy and expressive and she takes good care of papa. I answered back. I said, "Mama, wala naman masama kung mag-hug kayo ni papa eh. Kaya ko lang nasabi kasi hindi ko na kayo nakikita na nagha-hug. Di na tulad ng dati..." There was silence. I think my answer "shot" mama. Natigilan si mama. She just repeated what she said and added some more stuff, which I couldn't remember at all. Papa heard everything and he didn't say anything. He was quiet all the time but eventually, he said, "Tama na 'yan." And guess what I did? As usual, I cried...I cried again.
What have I done? Am I a BAD daughter? What's wrong with what I said? I just want to see them hug. What's wrong with giving themselves a hug? Honestly, when someone hugs me, I feel good. And I think I broke mama's heart...OMG. I feel bad...

Something to Think About
Malamig na
Ano kayang dahilan?
Dahil kaya malapit na ang pasko?
O baka naman
Dahil may katabi kang
Multo?
*Goodnight! (smiley)
How about you, dear readers of my blog? (feeling may nagbabasa ng blog ko...hahaha...) What do you think? =)

Confessions Part Two
Uwian Na
I did it again. I asked my aunt and tried to convince her if I can go home (in Laguna) after school, although I know that there's no possibility that she'll agree. Of course, she enumerated the reasons that she gave me before like the price of the gasoline is high, the car is too old to go back and forth Manila, and I will get tired. Surprisingly, I didn't say anything this time. I just kept quiet and nodded my head.
I really don't know what's going on with me. I always wanted the uwian way. Perhaps, I miss home--- a lot. Most of my blockmates get envy with us who stay in the dorm because according to them, we're independent and there's no parents who always look and check everything that we do. They say it's cool and fun. Yes, they may be right. Living in the dorm is cool because we learn to be independent and we do silly and fun things. We don't depend on anyone because there's nobody who will take care of ourselves except us. On the contrary, living in the dorm for four days (sometimes five days because we have Saturday classes) is also sad because we miss our families--- our home. Or probably, I'm the only one who feels this way. For six months, I'm still not yet adjusted, really. My room mates and dorm mates are most likely adjusted in this kind of life because I don't see them cry or hear them say, I want to go home. I don't know when I would be adjusted to dorm life. I'm still not losing hope that my wish, the uwian way, would come true someday. Oh, maybe, my wish will be granted when the price of the gasoline will decrease forever and when my parents will have enough money to buy a new car. *sigh*
Loyalty Not Yet Over?
I'm still thinking about that person. I thought I was really over him, but I guess, I'm not. God, please help me forget him. Let me set him free.
