It's Their Time to Shine

Instead of finishing our homeworks due next week, I finally decided to update my blog first. I realized that it has been a week since I last posted here. I did not see Enchong Dee in school last week but it was okay. It's not a big deal for me.

The twenty-fifth of September 2008 is an unforgettable day for all the La Sallians and the Ateneans. It is the day when the Ateneo Blue Eagles became the champions for the season 71 of the UAAP. Chris Tiu and his company showed us that they are a strong team to beat! v('',)v On the other hand, it may be a bittersweet ending for the Green Archers but come next year, they will be more hardworking and determined to achieve their goal. v(",)v

Regardless of what I said above, I think that the game last Thursday was a good one. Although, it made my heart cry when JV Casio, one of best players in the Green Archers team, was out of the court. It was really sad. *sob*sob*s0b*

Anyway, this is Ateneo's time to shine. I'm looking forward to watching more exciting games from the Green Archers and the Blue Eagles. I will see you next year, not in the big screen inside the Z2 Canteen in school, but in Araneta Coliseum. HAHA. v(",)v

Congratulations Ateneo for being the UAAP Season 71 Men's Basketball Team Champions!

Blush

I unexpectedly saw the person who makes my heart beat ten times faster in school. HAHA. Because I was mesmerized by his presence (we were 1 meter away from each other), while I was walking, I almost hit the girl beside me. Good thing, she found me funny. She smiled at me and then giggled after I said sorry. Maybe she saw that I was blushing and smiling all by myself. HAHA. Crazy me. v('',)v

He's really good looking in person, mind you. And this is the second time I've seen him in the university this school year. He really made my day. *sigh*

Just Happy and Proud

This post is especially dedicated to my younger brother, Ivan. As a proud Ate, I would like to share with you his accomplishments and the recognitions he's getting from his school recently.

I never expected that he would excel in academics because knowing him, he'd rather watch Tom and Jerry or Pokemon in Cartoon Network than study his lessons and do his assignments. At eleven, he's still very much into watching cartoons, playing with our dog, and reading comics and kiddie magazines. Honestly, some people often mistaken him as a grade two or a grade three student because of the way he acts and behaves. Well, he's the youngest in the family and this may be the reason why he is still like a "baby". And if you see him personally, he does not look like a hardworking grade five student. Trust me. HAHA.

Regardless of what I said above, I'm proud of him because he is making waves in his school.

To my surprise, I just discovered that he is representing his school to compete in other schools (he's very visible in the field of quiz bees these days). What really makes me more surprised is the mere fact that he has a banner with his own name and picture outside the gates of his school. How cool is that? Because of this, I always tease him that his face would scare innocent people who pass by the school because it is like a scare crow. HAHA. (Our father likes the joke, though. He keeps on laughing when he hears that.) I know, I'm mean to my own brother. v(",)v

Next week, he'll be competing again. I hope he would win this time. I know he can, because I trust him.

Go Ugly! Ate is proud of you! No matter how queer you are to me, I'm so lucky to have you as my brother. ILY. v('',)v

*Trivia: We fondly call each other Ugly. We really love each other, don't we? HAHA. By the way, please allow me to greet Ian and Nika a belated happy birthday and a happy birthday respectively.*

Huling Hirit sa Term Break

Hello! I've been enjoying the one week and some days term break. I am able to sleep for more than seven hours, watch TV and movies until I get sleepy, and surf the net like there's no tomorrow. Unfortunately, I only have one more day to enjoy the last day of the term break because on Wednesday, classes will resume. I'm going to miss these activities. Oh well, I guess I would have to wait for December so I could do these again. v('',)v

And speaking of sleeping, I'm dreaming about strange things lately. Well, my dreams may be strange but, at least, they are neither creepy nor freaky. As a matter of fact, I feel...thrilled. I don't know. HAHA. What the heaven is happening to me? HAHA.

Okay, I'll go to sleep. I'm off to Dreamland! HAHA. v('',)v

Good night everyone! v('',)v

*By the way, I would like to greet Mama Mary and Ivan, my dear brother, a Happy Birthday. Thank you for the ice cream treat. Yummy! HAHA.*

Good Job!

I can finally breathe in peace!

Despite the crammings and the sleepless nights, I was able to make it to the list again! Woohoo! v(",)v And the results are more than what I expected. They are remarkable! v(",)v Even if my EDUTEC2 grade is not really that high, I'm still happy because I passed the subject. On the other hand, I'm happy with my ENGLRES grade as well. It was difficult for my part because I didn't have a partner, unlike the majority of our class. I never thought that I could make an argumentative research paper on my own. v('',)v

I want to congratulate my 12 loves too. Although, hindi lahat ay nakaabot sa list, I'm still proud of you. I know we did our best! Babawi tayo next term, okie? And I can't wait for our EK trip on Friday. Sana hindi umulan para matuloy na. v('',)v Congratulations to LS and Danielle for being part of the list as well. I'm proud of you too! v(",)v

Last but not the least, I would like to thank God for making this possible. This wouldn't be possible without Him. Thank you for being there for me, most especially during the times when I felt hopeless because of my ENGLRES paper. Thank you very much! v(",)v

Okay, gotta go. I have to buy a pistacio ice cream. HAHA. Good bye! v(",)v

Eraserheads is Love

The Eraserheads is such a phenomenal Filipino band. This band inspired a lot of Filipinos to try their luck in the world of music industry. On the other hand, their songs are really great. Everybody can relate with them. And my generation grew up loving their songs.

I want to watch the second round of their reunion concert. It is my dream to see Ely, Raymund, Marcus, and Buddy perform live. And I hope, Ely would be fine this time.

Let's pray for the speedy recovery of Ely Buendia.

I wish I could have my wish granted. I will keep my fingers crossed. Who wants to miss this twice or thrice in a lifetime concert anyway? v(",)v

By the way, here is the song, Ligaya, by the Eraserheads. This is one of my favorite songs. Enjoy listening!

Ligaya - Eraserheads

*If, by any chance, my wish would not happen, I'd just buy a copy of the ORIGINAL reunion concert DVD. Okay na rin naman siguro un. Boo. v(",)v*
