Childhood Memories

Last Monday, we made play doughs. It was fun and easy, not to mention messy. It was like going back to our childhood as we played with the flour, mixed the "golden water", and squeezed the dough. We wanted our dough to be color gold but it became color flesh instead. Oh well, that's life. v(",)v We eventually got hungry after making our play doughs because of our theme, Gonuts Donuts. Our play dough slash donuts looked real and we kept on reminding ourselves not to eat them. Haha.

It was a wonderful learning experience for us, the future early childhood educators! Through this activity, I learned that play doughs aren't only for play. They develop the fine motor skills and the eye and hand coordination of the child. Also, they enhance our creativity and imagination. To end this, I will share with you some of the pictures taken, courtesy of Lo, during the play dough making. I'm warning you, don't be fooled. Haha. Enjoy! v(",)v

By the way, you can find the procedures on how to make play doughs. Just google it on the internet, okie? There are tons of them there. Good luck and have fun! v(",)v
