Not My Day

First of all, I have a not-so-wonderful day today. It is somewhat tiring and overwhelming. I stayed in the computer lab at the second floor of the Andrew building only to answer the questions our professor posted on the IVLE for ECEDLAN. I also felt the pressure of ENGLRES because I had a difficulty writing two thesis statement for my research paper (special thanks to Icca, she helped me). Just a while ago, after three hours of staring at my laptop and typing and researching about the ICT initiatives, I finished doing the online task for EDUTEC2. Lastly, I thought that I wouldn't be a good pre-school teacher in the near future because I'm not as bright as the others. *sigh* My confidence level went down again.

Well I guess today is not my day.

In addition, I want to tell you that somebody's totally out of our life--- my life. I don't know if I would be sad or happy. But I suppose I feel sad and happy. Maybe this is God's way for us--- for me--- to forget about this person. Anyway, those years are enough. Let me take a break.

On the contrary, I had a wonderful dream last night. It was so unexpected but at least, it made me smile. If only I could turn back the time... Haha. v(",)v

I Don't Want to Go Back Yet

Good day to all of you!

I woke up this morning feeling sick. My throat hurt since yesterday, and I was sneezing from time to time. I asked Auntie Lucy if I was hot (as in with fever) but she said no. Maybe I got this from the bad weather and from eating too much sweets.

I guess having colds or fevers is the trend these days. And I go with the trend. Oh well, I think I'm responsible for what I'm feeling right now. Haha. Imagine, I always bring an umbrella with me but I don't use it. Everytime it rains, I walk in the rain. When I feel like craving for sweets, I eat ice cream or drink a super cold fruit shake. This is how odd I am.

Meanwhile, I'm enjoying my five-day vacation. Today is the last day and I'm making the most out of it. Moreover, we're celebrating the feast day of St. John the Baptist here in Calamba, and it happens to be Manila Day as well, which means no classes. Yay! v(",)v

On the other hand, I'm going back to Manila tomorrow. I don't want to go back there yet, even if I'm only staying there for a night. The thought of going at the dorm makes me...well...feel homesick. On the positive side, at least, Marita, Mau, Mela, and Joy are there to make me laugh and be happy. v(",)v

By the way, I wrote something in my multiply account yesterday. Please drop by if you have time. It's one of my serious posts. You can access to my multiply account by just clicking the link on the left side of this blog (danadoo). I hope I will be able to inspire or touch your lives in a way.

Happy Fiesta in Calamba and Happy Manila Day! v(",)v

*I think there is no need to feel bad or bitter at the moment. I found myself a new crush. His name is Nathan and he's my cousin's friend. He's so good looking and cute! I shall meet him soon! Haha.*

Uninspired

I actually have no idea what to say. Unlike before, my mind isn't overflowing with stuff to share with you. Beyond that, I have things to do but I choose to remain immobile at home and stay infront of my laptop reading blogs, checking and updating my online accounts, chatting with old and new friends, and downloading music. Instead of doing productive things, I'm wasting my time doing nothing and thinking about irrelevant issues that sometimes bother my mind.

Why am I so uninspired at this point in time?

It should be the other way around since I've got the chance to have some quality time with the special people. There are a lot of wonderful events that happened this week so there should be a reason for me to be inspired, right? But unfortunately, I'm not. Sometimes, this feeling leads me into the conclusion that, life is so strange and unpredictable too.

Without hesitation, I think I should go to bed and sleep now. Hopefully, I'll have my inspiration tomorrow. Good night everyone! Ciao! v(",)v

Rain Rain Go Away

Summer is officially over. The sky starts to cry out loud, giving away little droplets of water on the land. Lightnings and thunders are always seen and heard. And maybe, one of these days, there would be floods too who'll make it quite impossible for us to go outside our houses or school.

Just like yesterday, Ocha and I were stuck in EGI Taft Tower for a couple of minutes after making our flash character for EDUTEC2. We came from Andrew building and went to EGI to meet and say good-bye to Nikki. When we got outside the salon where Nikki was having her nails done, it began to rain. There was a strong wind and the entrance side (the one facing the school) was almost flooded. Even if it was raining so hard, we walked in the rain and went back to school. Unfortunately, I was wearing flip-flops. My feet were soaked in the mini flood outside EGI, and it left me a bad feeling.

I don't like rainy days, especially when I'm in school. I always wear flip-flops and rarely wear rubber shoes or sneakers. When it rains in Manila, my feet are not only getting wet because of the rain but because of the mud too. Honestly, it is really yucky. Taking a taxi or a pedicab is another option. I don't like to spend forty pesos or more since the dorm where I live is near the school. Hey, I would only cross the Taft avenue! Oh well, I guess this is a part of the college life. v(",)v

It doesn't matter if the rain nowadays is clean. I think I would love to play in the rain if it is dirt-free. However, because of global warming and too much pollution, the rain becomes acidic and dirty.

Let me ask you, who would love the rain if it's like this? I suppose, we'd rather stay in a building or inside a room and wait until it stops than walk, get wet and dirty, and sick. On the positive point of view, in times like this, we can't blame Mother Nature for doing such a thing. I believe she's just giving us what we deserve.

Good day everyone! v(",)v

*While walking on the grounds of La Salle Taft, Jalvin texted me last Thursday just to tell me that she saw Robi Domingo in Ateneo! Woohoo! Isn't she lucky? They both study in Ateneo and they belong in the same department. How cool is that? Haha!*

For You

This song Say It Again by Marie Digby is very, simple, sweet, and nice. Before I pack up my things for school tomorrow and study for our FILKOMU quiz, I'm going to listen to this song first to make me feel even better and motivated. So, this is my LSS (last song syndrome) for today. I really hope I do know how to play the guitar. Can you teach me please? By the way, this is for you. I hope you like it. v(",)v

Say it again for me 'cause I love the way it feels when you are telling me that I'm the only one who blows your mind

Say it again for me, it's like the whole world stops to listen when you're telling me you're in love

Say it again...

*I'm loving the song.*

Childhood Memories

Last Monday, we made play doughs. It was fun and easy, not to mention messy. It was like going back to our childhood as we played with the flour, mixed the "golden water", and squeezed the dough. We wanted our dough to be color gold but it became color flesh instead. Oh well, that's life. v(",)v We eventually got hungry after making our play doughs because of our theme, Gonuts Donuts. Our play dough slash donuts looked real and we kept on reminding ourselves not to eat them. Haha.

It was a wonderful learning experience for us, the future early childhood educators! Through this activity, I learned that play doughs aren't only for play. They develop the fine motor skills and the eye and hand coordination of the child. Also, they enhance our creativity and imagination. To end this, I will share with you some of the pictures taken, courtesy of Lo, during the play dough making. I'm warning you, don't be fooled. Haha. Enjoy! v(",)v

By the way, you can find the procedures on how to make play doughs. Just google it on the internet, okie? There are tons of them there. Good luck and have fun! v(",)v

*Congratulations Robi Domingo for being the 2nd teen big placer in the recently concluded Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus.*

What's Up with People These Days?

Have you heard about Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse? Many people in school are going crazy over them. I have blockmates who don't listen to class discussions because they prefer to be with Bella and Edward and witness their romantic yet different kind of love story. They're talking about them everytime and everywhere we go. They're becoming really thrilled and excited for the coming of the Breaking Dawn on August. And because of all this thrill and excitement around me, I'm thinking about getting myself a copy of each book to stop my curiosity.

Yes people, they're books written by Stephenie Meyer. I think these series would be the next Harry Potter. It's not about witchcraft and wizardry, but a love story between a mortal and a vampire. Like what the Publisher's Weekly said in the review, it is "Propelled by suspense and romance in equal parts [this story] will keep readers madly flipping the pages of Meyer's tantalizing debut." In addition, according to the review of School Library Journal, "The novel's danger-factor skyrockets as the excitement of secret love and hushed affection morphs into a terrifying race to stay alive. Realistic, subtle, succint, and easy to follow, Twilight will have readers dying to seek their teeth into it."

No wonder why my blockmates really love reading the Twilight series.

And speaking of books, I recently finished reading Eggs by Jerry Spinelli. It's a nice book actually and like Penny from Heaven, I learned a lot about friendship and forgiveness. In my own point of view, it's like a more mature version of the Little Prince. Try reading it too. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

"When you can live forever, what do you live for?"

*I can't wait to read these books. I would love to meet Bella and Edward! Oh well, I'll meet them...real soon. By the way, the first movie of this series, Twilight, will be in theaters on December 2008. I can't wait to watch it as well. =)*

Nakakatuwa at Nakakamangha

Sophomore Syndrome

I’m officially a college sophomore. My freshman year in La Salle seems only like yesterday. The pace of life in school is really fast because of the school system, which is trimester. Ang bilis talaga. The first day of my sophomore year is fine. There are a lot of new faces around the campus. It is easy to distinguish freshmen because they still depend on their EAF for their schedule. In addition to that, their EAF serves as their temporary ID. I’ve also seen some people I know. What’s more fun is that I can spend a lot of time with my college friends again and with my other block mates as well. (I love Block 1 L81!) By the way, the freshmen make me feel old. Hahaha. Of course, I’m only kidding. =)

On the other hand, I feel quite sad because school works are just around the corner. Sooner or later, our professors will give us tasks that we need to accomplish by the end of the first trimester. And the sophomore year looks like more complicated, academically speaking, based on the syllabus of the different subjects we’re taking up this first trimester. Our professors give the impression of expecting a lot from us too. Oh well, it is indeed good bye to summer vacation and hello to stress!

On the drama queen side, the first week of school makes me feel homesick all over again. I don’t know why I’m still not getting used to living far away from home, though I enjoy the company of my dorm mates/ room mates. This may sound like a cliché, but I think this old saying is definitely true: there’s no place like home. =)

One Special Night

Last night, my friend, Mye, celebrated her 18th birthday at Century Park Hotel. It was a night of fun and laughter. I felt so happy because I was able to be with her on the very special day of her life. This is truly a memorable one. =)

Happy Shalalala...

Tomorrow!!! Tomorrow!!! Tomorrow!!! I'm going to a debut party tomorrow!!! =) Okay, you might find it weird but honestly, I've never been to a debut party of a friend. I turned down the previous invitations of some friends slash classmates for some reasons. I explained to them why I couldn't go to their party. Their understanding made me feel very glad and thankful. However this time, it's quite different. For the very first time, my parents and auntie are allowing me to attend Mye's party. I'm so happy and excited!!! =) Yay!!! =)

On the geek side, I finished reading the book, Penny from Heaven by Jennifer L. Holm. It may be a simple children's (or teens') book but hey, I learned a lot from it. Even the adults can learn from it too. I won't tell you exactly what the story is about but I promise you, this is definitely a good read. =)

By the way, congratulations to David Cook, the seventh American Idol. David Archuleta, it's okay. I still like you. Haha. =) Good night everyone and thank you for reading!!! =)

Counting Down the Days

After one week and six days, I finished reading Queen of the Universe by Barbara Plum. Unlike the first two books that I finished for only two to three days, this book took a very long time for me to finish because it made me feel sleepy. Oh well, at least, I'm done with it.

I'm looking forward to reading two more books, Penny from Heaven by Jennifer L. Holm and Eggs by Jerry Spinelli (I think these books are for ages 9-12. Haha!). I hope I could finish the both of them by Sunday. I still have a couple of things to prepare for school because on Monday next week, my life will come back to normal...again. I have to say good bye to my beloved summer. I think I should obey Auntie Lucy's advice too--- sleep early and change my beyond the normal sleeping patterns. =)

Right now, I'm just counting down the days. In five days, I would be a college sophomore. Booyah! =)

I Heart You

How do you feel whenever you see the person you admire the most? What do you do when he or she smiles at you? Do you stumble or smile back? Have you ever looked directly at his or her eyes when you talk to him or her? Have you ever wished your conversation with him or her would last forever?

I realized something.

Like what Ayeen said in her blog, it doesn't matter if the person you admire is good looking or not. As long as he or she has a lot of sensible things to say, hence interesting, he or she may win someone's heart. And if you both have a lot of things to talk about, you'd discover yourself wanting to spend some more time with him or her. Talking is also one way to get to know more about each other.

I agree with Ayeen. Words may be so powerful that they have the possibility to hurt someone else's feelings and can destroy a person, but they can also make people fall in love too (or like each other). Lastly, when you talk, be yourself. Be confident. They are a "plus-factor". So there. Have a nice day everyone! =)

Simple, Weird, and Funny

Five months from now, I'm turning 18! The people who know my birthday always ask me where I would celebrate this extra special day. Actually, I don't like the idea of celebrating my 18th birthday the traditional way. I don't need gowns and extravagant attire just to celebrate it. As long as I'm with my family, friends, loved ones, and special people, even if it's only a simple salo-salo in a restaurant or at home, it's okay. Actually, I'm willing to stand up all day and wait for my turn in the US Embassy just to have a visa because I want to fulfill my dream of travelling around the world. However, unlike the others who ask for cars, I want to have an iPod video so I could transfer all the songs I downloaded in my laptop. Yes, you read it right. An iPod video. I have a feeling that my beloved laptop might explode one day because I downloaded a lot of songs. I desperately need an iPod video. Haha. Weird huh? Haha.

On the funny side, if I were to have a party, I would really appreciate if Spongecola (my favorite OPM band), Enchong Dee (my schoolmate and my ultimate crush), and Mikee Lee (the person I admire because of his intelligence and great writing skills) are there. Haha. Although Auntie Lucy says it is impossible, I won't stop daydreaming about it. But, if ever it happens, I would be the happiest birthday girl in the whole wide world! =)

Don't be Mean

Ironically, I'm writing this entry in English.

I'm not really that patriotic but whenever I read something bad about us Filipinos, it pains me. I feel offended because I'm a Filipino and I live in the Philippines. How come some foreigners say that we make them puke because of the way we practice our culture? In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with our culture. Honestly, I find our culture very interesting because of the influences of the different countries that colonized us before. At least, in our culture, we know how to respect and give importance to our elders--- that we value our family. In reality, the Philippines belongs to a third world country. I'm aware that a lot of us live in poverty. There are even some of us who leave the country and their family to work abroad so that they could feed and support them. It is sad but definitely it is true. However, I totally disagree in the belief that "nothing good has ever come from Philippines". The Philippines is a beautiful country, and it has a lot of wonderful places to be seen. The Filipinos are good and smart people. In fact, some of the foreigners who have visited our country admire our hospitality towards them. And because of our hospitality, they keep coming back and they learn to love our country as well. The Philippines may be a third world country right now but I believe it will become a very prosperous country, economically speaking, like America, China, and Japan. I don't know when, but I strongly feel that it will happen someday.

*Good night everyone and thank you for reading! =)*

May karamay tayo.

May pangarap akong maging isang manunulat. Oo, totoo 'yan.

The Night Owl

There's something I want to tell you right now. Sit back, relax, and read all the blah-blah I'm going to tell you tonight. Just promise me you won't get pissed off after reading it, okie?

I'm the only person awake in this house.
I can't sleep. Boo.

Everybody is fast asleep, including Blossom, our dog. The house is quiet. Even our neighborhood is doing a great job in keeping the area at peace. Only a dog's bark from the other street neigbor's house is being heard at the moment...then suddenly it stopped. Perhaps the dog got tired of barking and fell asleep as well. I don't want to look outside the garden because it is too dark and scary, though I'm tempted to look at the sky to see if there are stars. Oh well, I think I've had enough sleep today. I guess lying on the bed and staring blankly at the ceiling while listening to the songs will help me fall asleep. Good luck to me.

This is all.

See.

It's not really interesting AND important.

Anyway, thank you for reading!

I hope you kept your promise. =)

If We Were a Movie

I visited my Tagged account because I haven't opened it for ages. I don't open it as often as my friendster and multiply accounts. Anyway, while browsing through my home, I saw a video of the acoustic version of If We Were a Movie, which was downloaded by one of my contacts. Because of this video, I want to learn how to play the guitar so I could play this song and sing it myself. Haha. =)

If we were a movie
You'd be the right guy
And I'd be the bestfriend
That you'd fall in love with in the end
We'd be laughing
Watching the sunset
Fade to black
Show the names
Play that happy song...

I'm not really a fan of Hannah Montana or Miley Cyrus. I just love this song. Sweet! Happy-happy!=)

Hello Again!

I'm back people! After for two weeks of not being around in the cyberworld, I had done stuff which I planned to do before my freshman year in La Salle ended. I went to the mountains to be a monk. I meditated and reflected a lot to have a peace of mind and to find myself as well, although I didn't shave my head. People, of course, I'm only kidding. The real reason was that our Internet connection gave way or rather, gave up. Well, I only stayed up in my room and isolated myself from the real world. Nothing really exciting happened. I created a world of my own. I went to National Bookstore and I bought five books (novels). I read until the wee hours of the morning. Honestly, I felt like a nerd or a geek without a pair of eye glasses and braces. However, I realized that reading was also good because it enhances and widens our vocabulary. Sometimes, I played badminton outside our house to breathe a fresher air and to burn carbs too. Haha.

Oh well, I had fun last week! Auntie Sari had her birthday party at Crustacia's in Powerplant (2nd Level) and we had a very sumptuous dinner. We ate crabs and a lot of seafood. The food was really yummy. We shall eat there again! Haha. On the other hand, I had an out-of-the-province trip with my two friends, Maggie and James. I enjoyed being with them for one whole day. Thank you very much, Maggie and James, for making my day happy and extra special! =)

I would like to share with you some of the pictures Maggie, James, and I took last Friday. Good times. =)

By the way, Happy Mother's Day to your moms! Ciao! =)

So True

I always like reading blogs because it makes me aware of what's been happening or going on around me. Reading blogs keep me updated about stuff and it lets me know more about people. One of my favorite blogs is Bianca Gonzales'. I like the way she writes. Her entries are interesting, full of sense, and eye-openers. Please try to visit it if you have time. I tell you, when you read her blogs, you'll discover yourself nodding your heads, agreeing to it, and say, "Oo nga naman...hmmm...". =)

Her latest entry is about broken hearts. I'm not a broken-hearted person because I've never been in a relationship yet. And I think I'm still too young for it. Haha. =)

As always, I agree with Bianca. I can relate to her blog as I look at it with a different point of view. For me, it doesn't only focus on broken hearted people who lost wonderful relationships with their dear loved one. I think, it is also applicable to some situations regarding relationships with friends and family, and even stuff connected with school...that is why I can relate with her.

According to her, when you feel broken hearted, "no advice said to you will make you feel better...hugs will comfort you, concerned texts will make you smile, but no amount of advice will make you feel better...unless you decide to let it make you feel better." This is so true. I experienced this when I was in third year highschool. My friends made an attempt to comfort me because I wasn't one of the merit awardees that year. It was my first time and I really felt bad. Some of their advices even made me feel worse because I felt irresponsible, though some of them gave me inspiration and strength to do better next time. Like what she said, "Of the hundred cliche lines thrown at you at an attempt to make you feel better...there will be a few lines a few major lines that will speak to you and touch your heart and soothe your soul. Those pieces of advice, you hold on to." On the other hand, I like the way she said about prayer and God...that God can heal broken all things broken, including our heart. "...when your heart is peaceful, give thanks. When your heart is troubled, still give thanks and ask for deliverance. When your heart is shattered into a million pieces, still give thanks, and ask that you may learn whatever life lesson it is that He wants you to learn. In both high and low, give thanks, because it is one of the surest things in life that God only works for the good of those who love Him." Yes, prayer really works. I also realized that God made us feel this way, not because He wanted us to feel miserable, but to let us see more good things beyond whatever made us feel sad, and to think positive too. It is not yet the end of the world. Our broken hearts may not be healed at a fast rate of time, but it will heal...soon. Healing takes time. And don't forget to remember, there's still a rainbow after every storm. =) When it comes to moving on, she said, "...go through it. Go and let it out. Cry before you sleep, cry when you wake up, cry in the bathroom, cry to your friends...make senti all you want. Do it all. Don't let anybody stop you... I know you feel that it won't, that the day you will be okay will never come, but it will. have faith, it will". Again, this is so true. Going back to my story when I was in third year, as far as my memory was concerned, I cried one whole week because I couldn't get over it. I really cried my heart out then after that week, I felt better and happier. Now, it only remains as a part of my highschool life...my highschool memories.

Through this experience and Bianca Gonzales' blog, I learned three important lessons in life: Never give up. Think positive. And always have faith and trust in God. =)

Good afternoon everyone! Thank you for reading! =)

The Bookworm

Three nights ago, I decided to be a bookworm. Because I wasn't able to sleep, I read Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Sparks again. Unfortunately, I didn't finish the book and I never opened it since then. I felt that it has no thrill at all because I already know the story. But how about Harry Potter or A Walk to Remember? I read those books for...the nth time. I was never bored nor felt sleepy while reading them. These books are my favorites though. Aww. I want to go to National Bookstore, Powerbooks, or Fully Booked just to buy new books...new novels. There are a lot of nice books out there...and I think they're waiting for me. I have tons of time to read books since I'm on vacation. Haha. And most of all, I hope whatever catches my attention will be affordable. Haha. Talk about saving money. Haha. Do you have a book to recommend for me to read this summer? *sigh* Good night eveyone! Ciao! =)

The Funny Miracle

Everyone who knows me know that I belong to a very religious family. My aunties are always seen in the church praying at the adoration chapel or attending mass. They are members of the religious organizations in our parish and most of their friends come from the church. Religious indeed, right? Haha. Even when they give me some "pangaral" regarding some of my mischief, they never fail to include religious terms such as praying and thanking God or simply God. And because of this, some people often mistaken me as becoming a nun someday. Oh my! I will never be a nun, for heaven's sake! Haha. I want to be a pre-school teacher, God knows that. Besides, He isn't calling me yet to be one His "shepherds". I hope you get my point. Haha.

Anyway, the first paragraph is just an introduction because I feel that my entry today is related to miracles. Well, at least for my aunties, what I've done today is a miracle. Haha. This is not really a big deal for me but for them, it is. Haha. Okay, I just cleaned my room. Haha. That's the miracle. And for them, cleaning my room is a miracle because during the school year, according to them, my room looks like a jungle or a maze. Also, based from what I've heard, whoever enters my room will be lost. Haha. Ganoon daw kagulo ang room ko. Exaggerated naman. Haha. But now, I think, nobody will be lost because I arranged my things already. =) Auntie Sari even told me, "Magpapa-fiesta ako kasi naglinis ka ng room mo. Good job!" Okaaaay auntie. Haha. Very funny. Haha. =)

Well hey, I do clean my room especially when there's nothing to do. Haha. But sometimes, I get too lazy to clean it because I'd rather surf the net or watch TV. Haha. Like what Ayeen said, "Buhay Bum". *sigh* Right now, I want to go to Disneyland. I really do. Huhu.

Enjoy your summer people! =)

Please, Let Me Explode Only for Today...Thank You..

*Mood: A little bit calm.*

Okaaayyy. I'm really getting tired of hearing about my chubbiness. I know I'm chubby...and I'm aware that I'm becoming chubbier each day. Please, please, please, stop reminding me about it. I'm really really feeling bad about myself na because you keep on telling me about my physical appearance. It also makes me feel bad when you compare me to some slim people who look like models. I know it's not bad to tell me about it. Actually, there's nothing wrong but as in everytime you see me...oh my. Kulang nalang umiyak na ako sa harapan niyo because of what you're telling me almost everyday. I don't even eat breakfast recently, and sometimes I don't eat rice at dinner because I'm aware and conscious na. I just smile to hide my emotions inside. Sometimes I make fun of myself nalang and imagine I look like a siopao or a monay. Haha. Tell me, honestly, what do you want me to do? That is why I miss going to school as well because every morning, I walk to go to school since the dorm where I'm staying is just near it. Walking is my only way of exercising to burn the fats inside my body or rather tummy. I think I should do more exercises and walking since we have enough space here at home to do such stuff, right? Probably that will make you happy. Haaaayyyy naku. Oh well, I'm sorry because I can't help it. Some people are going beyond the limits already, and I think this is the right time to be...uhm...like this. I hope you understand. I'm doing my best to be slim, okaaayyy? Too bad I wasn't able to borrow my friend's Hip Hop Abs dvd. Someone borrowed it na pala. *sigh* On the brighter side, I'm trying to smile now to get rid of wrinkles. I don't want to look very old at my age. Haha. Yikeee, Danadoo! This is the spirit! Haha.

Good night everyone and thank you for sharing your precious time reading my sentiments! =)

Fun Chat

I had a great time chatting with Audrey yesterday and we talked about Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus. We both like Robi Domingo, the guy from ATENEO. Woohoo! Go Robi! Haha. Though I also like Josef from La Salle. But I like Robi more. I don't know why. Haha. Maybe I like him because of his intelligence and leadership skills. Oh well. This is life. Anyway, the animo fire is still burning with me. I'll keep it burning. Haha. Animo La Salle! =) Let me share with you a part of our YM conversation:

audrey_apacible: ayy ate dana..
audrey_apacible: nanonood ka ng pbb????
dana_canicosa: oo...hahaha...why? :D

***(The End)***

This is really a "kilig-to-the-bones" moment. Haha. Okay, it's corny. Haha. But it is totally a kilig moment. Haha. Robi! Robi! Robi! Haha. It's really nice to have some fun chat with Audrey. I really miss her. If you, by any chance, spend some time with her, I tell you, you'll never be bored. Believe me. =) Thank you Audrey. I had a fun time chatting with you yesterday. See you soon! *hug* =)

We are Survivors

Our first year in DLSU has finally reached its end and I can now proudly say that we survived. At last, we can sleep in peace without worrying about doing projects and studying for our quizzes and finals. We can go somewhere else and enjoy with our family unlike in those times when we stay at home and feel "miserable" because we can't go with them for there are so many requirements needed to be submitted. This is the great time to spend time, to have a vacation, and to party like there's no tomorrow with our family and friends because there are no more projects and term papers that hinder us to do such things. Let us simply enjoy this freedom given to us but we should not take too much advantage of it. Let us be aware of our limitations as well, okie?

So for my fellow students who are now enjoying the time of their lives this summer, Happy Vacation! Cheers! =)

I'm a Survivor

I know it sounds familiar because you probably heard this title from the Destiny's Child hit song, "Survivor". Anyway, I would like to share with you that I passed all of my subjects with flying colors! Yay! I made it! Hooray! Haha. Despite everything, I'm still in the state of shock. Seriously and honestly, I'm quite surprised! I couldn't believe it! Because of this, like what I realized in my other previous blog entry, I realized that my late night sleeps, cramming, and procrastinating are worth it. I still belong in the list! =) People, I'm very happy to announce that I end my so-called "agony" today. Haha. On the other hand, I think that I deserve the pizza treat from Ocha. Haha. Thank you Ocha! Thank you God too for this wonderful blessing! =)

Tomorrow: Doom's Day

Tomorrow is not just an ordinary day. It would be a special day, like what Sir Ivan, our Tredone professor who graduated from ATENEO, has always been telling us everyday. My heartbeat's rate is getting faster and faster because in 12 hours', I will know the results--- my performance and my grades in the different subjects I took this term. Honestly, I feel nervous and excited at the same time. Have you ever felt this way every course card distribution day too?

Oh well, I'm hoping but not expecting too much. I trust God and whatever the results are, I would accept them whole-heartedly. As for now, what makes me really excited is the pizza treat of Ocha tomorrow after getting the course cards at Yellow Cab in Taft Avenue, infront of the school. Yay! I wish I deserve the pizza treat though. Haha. =)

By the way, I had my hair cut last Saturday. My hair is so much shorter and I think, I look like a walking siopao or monay. Haha. Anyway, that's life. Haha. See you all soon! =)

This is my new short hair. I look like a siopao/monay right? Haha.

Isang Pagbabalik

This is the Start

I can slowly feel it now and I don’t want to expect too much, because I might get disappointed again. I’ve been in this situation once and I can’t describe the feeling because it has given me so much emotional pain. As far as my memory is concerned, I cried one whole week because I couldn’t get over it. I know I’ve tried my best, but not my very best. I should have exerted more effort to save myself from this agony--- the agony of getting a low grade. Exaggerated as it may seem, this is how I perceive getting low grades. Today is the start of my agony, as our course card distribution day is fast approaching. Good luck to me. I hope I am still a dean’s lister.

Miss Hyper

I just want to share with you my funny experience for today. It may not be funny to you but it is really funny for me, so please, bear with me. Haha.

I've been telling you almost everyday that I have a lot of school works to do, like portfolios. So, I went to school this morning to submit everything. I stayed up late, until in the wee hours of the morning, just to finish my ECEDSED porfolio. I also tried to finish my Persef porfolio, but unfortunately, I fell asleep while doing it (I finished it in school). So anyway, when I learned that these portfolios are due tomorrow, I really felt...surprised. In my planner, I wrote there that these porfolios are due today. Haha. Weird. Does it mean I'm not listening to our professor? Haha. Oh well. At least I'm done with everything. I submitted everything. Does it seem I'm excited to submit these porfolios? Haha. My friend is right. I'm "Miss Hyper". (He called me once Ms. Hyper...haha) I only need to worry about our Statlit finals on Thursday (surely, it is on Thursday...haha) and our course-card distribution on Friday and on the 16th. =) Yay! =)

I learned something today: My procrastination and cramming are worth it. And I hope I'll get a good grade. Haha. =)

Good night everyone! =)

And the Best Procrastinator- Crammer Award Goes to...

Me!!! Yay!!! Thank you very much. *applause* I haven't started yet with my portfolios. Great! Those portfolios are due on Tuesday. I think I have to cram again tomorrow. Well, I'm getting pretty used to cramming so it won't be such a big deal for me. Anyway, I'm still thinking about my grades for this third term and I feel that they're much lower, in comparison to my grades last term. Though my ECEDSED midterm grade is surprising.ü I hope I pass everything...and no grades less than 2.5 (in DLSU, the highest grade is 4.0 not 1.0).

I was totally drained last Thursday because I took FACLERN finals. It was our group's choice because we wanted to get a higher and better grade. So, I studied on the day itself and I forgot how I survived the exam. Haha. I felt bad too because I forgot to put that "when children perform good in school, they become more motivated to study well, which may result to becoming more competent with their classmates too..." in my write-up. Geez, I only remembered it on my way home. Sad. Additional points pa naman un. Sayang talaga. Haha. I came home late (from Manila to Laguna) because I finished the exam at around 7pm. I arrived here at around 8:30pm, ate dinner fastly, then did my reflection for ECEDSED final paper on the last minute because Mau told me to email it by 9-10pm. Whew. Beat that! Haha. Then last Friday, I almost forgot to email Mye about our individual reflection for ECEDLOG. I also did that on the last minute before 9pm. Good thing Danielle told me that she's still online so I sent it to her thru YM. Wow...if there's an award for the best procrastinator or crammer, I think, I deserve it. Haha.

Okay, this is all for today. I'll try to sleep early so I could wake up early tomorrow and do my portfolios. I really have to finish them before 6pm tomorrow. And oh, I have to study for Statlit finals too. Oh my. Haha. =) Good night! Ciao! =)

This will be Good-bye...

It's difficult to forget a person who's been a big part of your life. Though I suppose, this is the right thing to do, especially if the person you like doesn't like you back. I was thinking about Mr. Loyalty this past few days and auntie told me that maybe, he's galit because he feels that pinagpipilitan ko ang sarili ko sa kanya. Ouch. I guess it's true. The truth hurts. So, I think, this is the time to really let him go, as I'm trying to let go of the past. The time has come for me to move on and open up again to somebody else who is worthy and deserving to be liked and loved.

***

Mr. Loyalty, (and if you're reading this), thank you for everything. I'm letting you go now. I have nothing against you because you had been good to me, in a way. I'm also thanking God for giving me this chance to know you. You're one of the best gifts He has given me. I don't feel any bitterness, because I already learned to accept that you and I are not really meant for each other. I realized that this is the right thing to do, and this is good for the both of us. Let's keep the good memories and forget about the bad ones. I'm sorry if I hurt you emotionally.

I believe, this will be a good-bye...my last good-bye. If ever, by any chance, we'll see each other again...things will never be the same [again]. Stay happy always, take good care of her, and God bless you!

***P.S. This will be my last post about you, Mr. Loyalty.***

The Blue Archer

When I woke up this morning, I thought of something and I guess, it was funny and ironic. I was thinking about how to start my portfolios this morning and something just popped in my mind. I was thinking about transferring in Ateneo. What a thought! Haha. I didn't know how I came up with this idea but it makes me really wonder. If I were studying there, probably, I wouldn't be taking up early childhood education but interdisciplinary studies (my third choice, I think, I can't remember...haha) or biology (my first choice, but unfortunately, I didn't make it...it's a quota course) or mass communication (not in my choices...haha).

Oh well. This is just a thought...I wanted to be an Atenean too, though. However, I wouldn't give up my La Salle dream just because in my course, we have a lot of observations and things to do. Haha. And, I'm happy in La Salle...so why transfer, right? Because of my course in La Salle, I feel that I'm going back to my childhood again. Fun! Fun! Fun! =)

***
I'm getting LSS...thanks to Flo Rida and T-pain...Hahaha...
"Apple bottom jeans, boots with a fur...
the whole club's looking at her...
She hit the floor...
next thing you know...
Shorty got low, low, low, low
low, low, low, low..."
OMG. Haha. =)

Wait, Teka Lang! Break Muna.

Finals week in DLSU is fast approaching and our professors are really giving us a lot of work to do. So far, I have three or four portfolios to do which are all due next week. I haven't had a nice and good sleep for the past few days that's why I'm in a "soup-mode". Honestly, I'm telling you guys, I'm seriously tired, and if you see me, my eyebags are getting bigger! Haha. I'm really looking forward to having a vacation so I could sleep and rest and enjoy life. I never expected that my frosh year in DLSU would be this "hectic". We're as busy as the graduating students in CED. Haha. By the way, I saw Enchong last Monday and he surprised me and Maggie. He has highlights na! I think it's okay because the highlights look good on him. I also passed my chemistry test. Happy happy joy joy! Oh well, I think, this is all for today. Good night everyone! =)

Coffee Princess

Though I have a lot of work to do, here I am updating my blog again. I can smell the summer fragance and feel its hotness. The beginning of summer 2008 is quite hot, don't you agree? It makes me want to eat ice cream and drink a super cold mango shake. And oh, by just thinking about them, I feel hungry. Haha.

Last Monday, I went home (dorm) early because I wanted to study for our chemistry quiz. Maggie and I didn't meet as we usually do because she also had to do a school work. When Joy arrived, she told me that she's going to Starbucks because Ell gave her something and she wanted to use it. It was like a Starbucks promo. Anyway, because I wasn't in the mood to study yet, I decided to go with her since I haven't visited the Starbucks branch in Taft Avenue. The coffee scented shop was really tempting. I wanted to buy a mocha frap! However, I controlled myself because I'm saving my allowance to buy something I really want to have. While waiting for Joy's coffee, I saw the different brochures near the cashier area. Since I didn't buy anything, I got every brochure. Haha". I said, "Di na Joy, di ko naman kailangan ng sugar eh. Haha. Ito nalang mga brochures. Para kahit hindi ako bumili ng something, masasabi na galing akong Starbucks. Libre pa! O di ba? Haha." (while showing her the brochures)

Before studying for chemistry, I looked at the brochures from Starbucks. My jaw dropped when I realized that I accidently got an application form. I felt lucky because I wanted to apply there for a summer job. Unfortunately, I suddenly remembered what Ocha said before, that they're only accepting applicants who are 18 years old and above. I'm not yet 18! I still have seven months to wait before I turn 18. Oh well, I'll try my luck. I'd visit the Starbucks in Paseo in Sta. Rosa, Laguna and inquire before our "short" vacation ends. Haha. I'm really hoping and keeping my fingers crossed. *sigh* =)

An Apple a Day...

I just finished reading the special issue of Ang Pahayagang Plaridel. I don’t have any idea what really motivated me to write this one at the moment. While my room mates are now enjoying themselves in Dreamland (I hope you get my idea), I, on the other hand, am still awake, typing down all my thoughts as I listen to the music of the Click Five, Howie Day, and the Jonas Brothers.

Perhaps, I am inspired by what I have read because the articles are very much related to my course, which is Early Childhood Education. The special issue of APP talks about the social issues and concerns of the schools in our country today, such as the quality of education for both public and private schools, tuition fees, the so- called “world class standards”, fraternities and sororities, gifted- children, and the like. The whole content of the issue for this month is very informative because it helps students like me, particularly in our college, the College of Education, to be aware of what is currently happening in the world of education. For this reason, by being aware, we can apply what we have learned in school (the theories, etc.) and can possibly make a difference in the lives of our fellow Filipinos.

People! I’m excited to share with you my microteaching experience I had a while ago in our PTEACH class. However, I really have to go to sleep because I still have classes tomorrow. I would grab this opportunity because it only happens once in a blue moon. I’ll tell you about it next time. Good bye and good night! =)

Reality Bites

It is almost summer and we are still not yet on vacation. Unlike the others who spend the time of their lives at the beaches, we, on the other hand, are busy doing and finishing the requirements given to us by our professors. We still have classes after Easter Sunday and while the other people are enjoying partying around, we are cramming and worrying about our works, and wondering if we were to get a 3.5 or 4.0 grade in our outputs. Life is totally unfair.

I'm done doing my final paper for PTEACH 1 and the instructional material for FSTUDY2 (actually, I recycled the material. Haha. Lo and I will submit the puzzle I made last term for ECEDPRN. Haha.) but there are a lot of things to be accomplished such as my microteaching presentation together with the lesson plan, the papers (note: the PAPERS) for ECEDSED due next week, the game for STATLIT, and the reporting- final requirement for FACLERN. In addition to that, me and my classmates have to study for our finals in ECEDSED, STATLIT, and chemistry. So much to do, less time to work. Hassle. Haay.

Okay, I have to say good bye! I will do what I can do today since I'm in the mood to do these stuff. I'll update as soon as I'm finished and done with everything. =) Enjoy your vacation people and Happy Easter! =)

Changing for the Better

Right now, I feel that I won't be a dean's lister for this term. The subjects are easy to understand, but when it comes to assessment, I don't get satisfied with the results I get, even if I always try my best. I don't know what's happening to me. Last term, I gained points through reciting in class. My second term is a blessing...will my third and last term in my frosh year in DLSU be a blessing too? I really really hope so. I don't want to be "out" of the dean's list. I should recite more, and be more serious in my studies. I know the feeling...and I don't want to feel the same again. I hope you get my point.

I want to change the way I am when it comes to academics and school. No more laziness and manyana habit. Yes to hardworking, being dedicated to my studies, doing what I can do for today, and being a fast "mover". Good bye to insecurities and sensitiveness. It's not about being a nerd. I want to have a life too, you know. Haha. I'm changing for the better because I want to achieve my dreams, such as becoming a pre-school teacher, being successful in the near future, and being able to travel around the world. =)

Hip Hop Abs

May naisip akong paraan at nakuha ko ito sa aking blockmate-kaibigan: Hip Hop Abs ni Shaun T. Sa pamamagitan nito, it would be easier to burn fats and lose weight by dancing and having fun. Diba, walang side-effects? Haha. Haha.=) In a more serious tone, dapat magkaroon tayo ng disiplina sa sarili upang mamayat, ok? Magandang Gabi sa inyong lahat! =)

Eyes Opened

Before I go home at the dorm, I went to Central Plaza to see the man of the moment, Jun Lozada. I finally saw “the man” whom I usually see on TV. He visited our school to say what he wants to say, like what he does in the other schools. (By the way, I’m not pro nor against him. I went there just because I wanted to see him in person, because I’m curious about how he looks like.) He was on the stage, answering the questions of the people, whether a student or a professor, or a media person. As I stood there listening to him, I realized that this new issue in the Philippines today is now a part of our history…that today’s generation, our generation, is included in its latest chapter. I’m really glad because we (our generation) are becoming aware of what’s happening in our country, for the reason that we want a better future. It leaves me a good feeling because we are now trying to make a stand and we make ways to reach out to let our voices be heard. I hope it will never stop there as we put our words into actions. Let’s make a difference. Let’s make history. =)

The Crammer

Actually, I have lots of things to do and I haven't started yet. I don't feel like doing them so I guess I'll cram again tomorrow, even if there's no classes on Monday. I want to finish everything tomorrow--- the critic paper, the revision of our ECEDLOG powerpoint presentation, the interview, the observation and the lesson plan thing...as in everything! Then on Monday, I'll just rest and study for our chemistry midterms. Oh, and speaking of chemistry, I suddenly remember that I have to watch this documentary by Al Gore and write a reaction paper regarding it. Whew. I can do them! Aja! Aja! =)

Night night everyone! =)

Good-bye Goldie! Good-bye Bubbles!

I lost two dogs this month. Goldie passed away three weeks ago while Bubbles, she passed away this morning. I felt guilty because I never had the chance to play with them and feed them. They were really such adorable dogs. Too bad, I wasn't able to take their pictures. The aura at home seems different because they're gone. I will definitely miss them. Good-bye Goldie! Good-bye Bubbles! Your memory will always remain with us...thank you for all the help you gave us...for being watchful, obedient, and great dogs... We know that the both of you are happy, wherever you are right now. We heart the both of you!

*Now let's go to the brighter side...I dreamt about the person whom I admire two nights ago (actually, he always appears in my dreams now). In my dream, he's with a girl and they're super sweet. The girl is beautiful and they look good together. Waa! In reality, when I see him, he's always alone (that is...only by himself...no girl/s beside him) but I think...he likes someone. Yes, he likes someone and I feel that she's as beautiful as the girl I saw in my dream! Waa! In addition to that, I dreamt about him last night too...he just walked by. Cutie. Haha. Waa!*

One Big Truth is All We Need

Ever since Jun Lozada entered in the picture of Philippine politics, many have raised their eyebrows and asked themselves, “Who is this man?” Nobody knows him from the start, but now, he is more popular than Marimar and other teleserye characters in the primetime television. He is the most controversial and most- talked about person in the town today besides his opponent, Ben Abalos. He is “The Star Witness” of the ZTE scandal that involves our president, Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo.

I was surprised when I saw the La Sallian Brothers on TV especially Brother Armin, the President of the La Sallian community in the Philippines. I began to wonder: What are they doing there, in the senate, of all places in the Philippines? I never knew that Lozada is a fellow La Sallian because he studied in La Salle Greenhills when he was still younger. The brothers are protecting him because right now, his life is in danger. He asked the brothers to help him because he knows he could count on them, especially in times like this. That is why the whole La Sallian community, is affected by this controversy. Now I know why we always have prayer vigils every night after class at the Amphitheatre. We are only just praying for the truth and nothing more.

One big truth is all we need. I hope the whole truth will come out soon…and I’m also wishing that people would stop going to EDSA to have another People Power. Well hey, aren’t you guys getting tired of going to EDSA? If you could think of other ways to express your love and concern for our country, it would be much better. Three EDSA People Powers are enough okay?

*By the way, please watch TV Patrol tomorrow because the guys from ABS-CBN news and current affairs will be covering the campaign for the truth of the De La Salle University- Manila, College of St. Benilde and St. Scholastica’s College- Manila students. Please support our campaign. Let’s all be united. Let’s all be ONE for the truth. Thank you!*

Senti Mode

It is cold outside and it seems that rain will fall down anytime. I don't know if there would be a typhoon coming because I seldom watch news and I hardly read newspaper nowadays because auntie stopped buying since she went to States. I don't know what's happening in our country and around the world except for the ZTE broadband deal that involves Lozada and Abalos and the latest school shooting in Illinois where there are six people dead. Anyway, this is the perfect time to be in a sentimental mode since the weather is cold. For me, this is the perfect time to think and reflect about some stuff. And of course, this would be more perfect if I have a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallow in my hand. Oh well, I'm just wondering, if you were thinking about someone, is it possible that he or she is thinking about you too? Haay...I hope so.

My twelve friends in school. I love them. My days are always happy and colorful because of them. Thank you my twelve loves. Tasha, we miss you. =)

*By the way, I changed the song in my blog again. The title is One in a Million by Miley Cyrus. She also sang If We Were a Movie, the previous song. Ibabalik ko ulit ang If We Were a Movie...hindi ko lang alam kung kailan. Sa ngayon, One in a Million muna. =)*

S.A.D.

You might think I'm sad today because my title is S.A.D. If you have looked at the date above this entry, today is February 14, 2008. Oh, so today is Valentine's Day. I spent my first valentines in La Salle this year and it's kinda different because I came from an environment where there are no boys (my age) around. I won't elaborate more on that but I hope you get my point. Haha. Going back to S.A.D, it actually stands for Single Awareness Day. Every year, as the sweet couples celebrate happy heart's day, single people celebrate SAD. To stop you from wondering if I were sad, the answer is a big NO. I'm not sad. I never spend my valentines day feeling sad or bitter (though I said I felt bitter towards Mr. Loyalty in my previous entry hahaha) because everyday is a special day. =) Okay, this is all for today. Happy Valentine's Day (or Happy Heart's Day) and Happy Single Awareness Day to everyone! Enjoy! =)

***I finally saw Enchong Dee (actually, I see him every Monday). He's very handsome...that's true. =) He's visible in school these days and I'm very happy! Haha.***

Bitter-Sweet Like the Candy in the Street

Okay. Okay. Okay. Let me get straight to the point. I feel bitter towards Mr. Loyalty. That is his new name, by the way. Bitter! Bitter! Bitter! I don't know if I would cry or laugh. For more than three years, I'm still loyal to him, and I don't know why...pathetic isn't it? Valentines is on Thursday and I know that he would be the happiest guy in the whole wide world...There are a lot of good guys in school...I know some of them...and they are the ideal guy friends that most girls are praying for...but why am I loyal? Is it because I'm still holding on to my past and never letting go? I'm trying hard to forget him! Bitter! Bitter! Bitter! *sob* *sob* *sob* Just kidding. Haha. Anyway, have a very Happy, Sweet, Meaningful, and Romantic Valentines day! =)

Hmmm...What If?

Three or four days ago, I attended the meeting of Mau and her fellow colleagues. I just joined them because I didn’t like to go home (to the dorm) yet. I sat there listening to their views and opinions about the certain issues that happen in our college, which is the College of Education (CED). There were four questions, but the only question that remained in my mind was the first one. Of course, there is this perception that which comes first would be the one being remembered. Well, that is partly true in my case. Haha. Although, I can still remember the other questions, I don’t know why I couldn’t forget the first question: If CED were to be an object, what would it be? Why? They have different answers like crayons and rubrics cube that follow reasonable and sensible reasons. I have my own answer and reason as well, even if I’m not really a part of their meeting. I only kept it in my mind (how generous, not sharing my own thoughts! Haha). Here it goes:

If CED were to be an object, it would be a puzzle. In CED, there are issues and concerns that need to be resolved. The people in the college aren’t united yet. There are still empty spaces that serve as a barrier to each and everyone. Like a puzzle, in order to be called a REAL puzzle, it should be complete. The pieces of the puzzle fill the empty spaces to close the gap among each individual. There shouldn’t be any missing piece. There shouldn’t be one being left behind. When these pieces are already together, they become connected and united, thus producing a wonderful masterpiece.

So this is my reason. I know I can’t be a part of the student council because I feel I don’t have the potential to be a leader. However, if I were to be given a chance to run for a particular position, I would accept it. Oh well, this is my chance to come out of my shell and become a more active student right? This is my chance to fully overcome my shyness. In this way, I can prove something that is beyond the expectations of others; it is like a surprise. I would try my very best to serve my fellow La Sallians. Like what most of the candidates say, a leader serves the people; not the people serve the leader. If I would have my own RTR someday, after saying my script, I would always tell them one thing: I may have a small voice…but I can make a BIG difference. Wow, enough said. And back to my ECEDSED review. Haha. =)

Daydreaming...

Today, please allow me to daydream and think about my crush, thank you..thank you. *haha*blush*. I just realized that in two weeks' time, it's valentine's day because on Friday, it's already the first day of February. I'm gonna spend my first valentines in school, and I can picture that day in my mind right now. Anyway, there would be nothing new for me. Haha. As always, I spend the day with myself, friends, or family. Maybe, this time, I'm gonna spend this day with myself and friends. Remember, my family is in Laguna, while I'm in Manila. Oh well, that's life. On the other hand, if you have noticed, I changed my music in this blog. I like this song very much. I always play this song in my computer at home or in my laptop, which I usually bring with me in Manila. Whenever I play this song, I think about my crush...hahaha...and my imagination goes...

I'm singing this song with my band infront of an audience. While singing, I can see my crush sitting in the front seat looking at me. It doesn't mean that he likes me too. He's just there to support me and my band. Because I'm afraid to tell him what I feel, I'll say it through this song. Definitely, he won't get the idea that I like him...but singing this song makes me feel better...because through singing, I can express what I feel... especially, my feelings towards him...

If we were a movie...you'd be the right guy...and i'd be the bestfriend you'd fall in love with in the end..

Oh well, they say that it's free to daydream. I'm just happy. He makes my day happy...*blush* =)

Bye!!! Good day!!! And...always think about happy thoughts to be happy!!! =)

My Experience with the Theresians

Yesterday, I had a great time. I went to Auntie Lucy's Alma Mater, St. Theresa's College in Quezon City, because she invited me to be her guest. Although I came from St. Scho, I accepted auntie's invitation. I never regretted my decision because I enjoyed the whole night with the Theresians. I even met some of auntie's former colleagues and former students. The party was very lively, happy, colorful, and extravagant. They really spent a lot of money to make that Alumni Homecoming a truly memorable event. What I liked about the celebration were good food, nice program, and the booths. Oh, I loved the booths! They invited Starbucks (I bought my first mocca frap for this year..haha), Krispy Kreme (I also bought a dozen donuts...I'm really dreaming about their glazed donuts..haha), Shakeys (I wanted to buy pizza, but since I bought mocca frap and donuts, I controlled myself..haha), Fruitas, Dulcinea, and a lot more.

This is my first time to experience an alumni homecoming. It is super duper fun! Well, I'm looking forward to celebrating an alumni homecoming with my fellow Scholasticans in the future. I hope that everybody will be there to celebrate and enjoy that wonderful day, reminiscing the unforgettable experiences we have had together in St. Scho. Ora et Labora. That in all things, God may be glorified!
