On the 11th day of March, the whole world was shocked when a tsunami and an earthquake with a magnitude of 9 hit Japan.
Who would have thought that on a very busy Friday afternoon, something like this would happen? It only took a couple of minutes to take away everything from the people who live in that area. The dreams of the people were all shattered into pieces and many lives and properties were all gone.
I was watching a documentary two nights ago about natural disasters and it gave me goosebumps. It was like watching a horror movie. The earthquakes and the tsunamis were like the monsters that chase after their prey. I learned a lot from this documentary and it helped me understand how earthquakes and tsunamis are formed (but I won't discuss it here because you might get bored haha). When the documentary ended, I went to bed with my mind still active, thinking about what I watched. Creepy, indeed.
Because of what happened in Japan, I think that Mother Nature is trying to tell us something. I hope each one of us gets Her message and start giving Her some more tender love and care. And since we're all far from Japan, praying for those who got affected is the best thing that all of us could do. Stay safe everyone!
This is a photo of Sendai before and after the earthquake and tsunami. This piece of beautiful land looks different now.
