Status: Busy Thinking Randomly

How can you approach somebody and say that you don't really like what he or she did without hurting the feelings?

Why do some people take you for granted? Then, they will only realize your importance when you are gone. How sad.

To be honest, I absolutely and definitely don't like the Christmas decorations in our house at this very moment.

This is what happens when school work is piled up in your planner.

This is so lame. HAHA!

Anyway, I'm going back to my work.

Enjoy your weekend!

Let's go to Enchanted Kingdom sometime. (",)v

When Allergies Attack

I did not go to school today. I was absent and I missed three classes. Although I woke up a little bit later than the usual, I felt bad. I was not really productive. However, I was able to finish our report for tomorrow.

They say that too much of something is bad, and I agree. Now, I'm having allergies all over my two arms. I went to the doctor a while ago and she said, I should not eat chicken, oranges and other citrus fruits, mangoes, and chocolate at the moment. This means a temporary good bye to chicken barbecue, leche flan, mango shake, and chocolate cake. Oh my, those are my favorite foods!

This is like a dejavu. I used to avoid eating them before because of, well, allergies. And it is happening to me again. Torture! (exag.HAHA.) I guess, I have to wait for another two or three years so I could eat chicken barbecue, leche flan, mango shake, and chocolate cake again.

So there. Enough ranting about my allergies. It is my fault anyway. HAHA. I ate too much chicken and chocolate. I think I deserve them. I learned my lesson. v(",)v

Before I end this, I just want to share the song that is giving me the LSS for the whole day. Thanks to David Archuleta. Your song is very catchy. HAHA.
Crush - David Archuleta

"...Am I crazy or falling in love? Is it real or just another crush?...'Cause I'm trying and trying to walk away but I know this crush ain't going away...why do I keep running from the truth? All I ever think about is you...you got me...so mesmerized and I've just got to know..."

*Oh well, I saw you again...twice yesterday. And this time, we're much closer. Hope to see you soon!*

Would You?

My groupmates and I were thinking about the topics to be discussed for our panel discussion in SPEECOM then suddenly an idea just popped in my head. Though I was totally feeling sleepy at that time, I was able to suggest to take in consideration the topic about reality TV because it’s a fad nowadays. After finishing our list of topics, we presented it to our professor and surprisingly, he chose my idea. Then, he shared something about himself as a fashion designer, and his initiatives about joining Project Runway. We were absolutely amazed! Unfortunately, the school administration did not allow him because he’s working full-time. So anyway, going back to our group, we do not have any problems at all (yet) because most of us have connections (Survivor Philippines, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition, Project Runway, and MYX VJ Search). Therefore, we can get information directly from them.

Before we were dismissed in class, we brainstormed and asked questions related to our topic so it would be easier for us to do some research. We enumerated the different reality shows that we know such as the ones mentioned above. We also included the international ones like The Beauty and the Geek and America’s Next Top Model. Though, I can’t really remember if American Idol was there.

I started doing some research and I found out that some people like to join reality shows because it was their dream, they wanted to become famous, they admired models, and the like.

As a student who fondly watches reality TV shows sometimes to lessen the boredom, I can say that there are positive and negative effects on the people who join. On the positive side: First, they have the possibility to become famous because the whole world is able to watch them everyday. Second, they gain new friends because reality TV shows involve meeting new people. Third, they will learn to understand the differences and uniqueness of other people, most especially if they come from other cultures. Fourth, a lot of opportunities will be open for them. On the other hand, the negative side consists of having no privacy, conspiracy, stress, pressure, and even conflict with the members of the family.

A friend once asked me, “If you were given a chance to join, for instance, Pinoy Big Brother, would you go for it?” Well, to make my answer short, I said no for personal reasons. However, honestly, I have plans to join MYX VJ Search next year or the year after the next. And I’m still thinking about it carefully. Anyway, if it is in God’s plan, then let it be.

So, how about you, would you go for it? v(",)v

Don't Talk to Strangers

On my way home to the dorm last Thursday afternoon, a woman with a little girl holding her hand approached me. The woman asked me if I could give them some fare because they couldn’t go home. Of course, I was surprised! Though I wanted to give her what she wanted, I did not get my wallet inside my bag. I said sorry and continued walking. I felt guilty, yes, but I was scared too. Nevertheless, I was thinking about them until I arrived at the dorm. In the end, I decided to only pray for them--- for their safety.

Nowadays, it is not easy to trust people. First, there are a number of bad individuals around. If you are watching the news lately, there are reports about various crimes in the society such as kidnapping, hold-upping, stealing, and the like. They may seem kind and harmless at first, but they can do things to us that depend on their real intention/s. Second, there is a possibility that the people we see in the streets are members of a syndicate. So, as the elders always say, it is better to give them food instead of money because we don’t know where the money we give them goes. On the other hand, we can ask different national civic organizations to support us in helping them. I think, this the least that we can do to help and save them, from the hands of the ones who take advantage of their goodness.

Let me end this entry by saying that it is important to be street smart and to be more careful in our environment. There is nothing to lose. We don’t really know. We can’t really tell. So, ingat! v(",)v

I'm Eighteen!

No right words can fully describe the feelings I had when I turned eighteen last October. I was extremely happy. Special people greeted me. Unexpected people and gifts and a guest surprised me. Even if I did not celebrate it in the grandest way, I still had fun!

My eighteenth birthday is the best so far. It is truly memorable. And I thank God for making me realize how lucky and blessed I am.

However, now that I am eighteen, I have to be more responsible in everything that I do because there are more expectations from me. In line with this, I should set aside my negative vibes and insecurities but keep the positive ones...learn how to forget the bad memories and learn from my mistakes as well. I will strive even harder to achieve my goals in life to become the best that I can be. v(",)v

By the way, I saw Enchong Dee yesterday in school. It was his birthday. My friends called him, but he did not look. HAHA. Anyway, before I graduate, I hope we will become friends. Oh well. HAHA. v(",)v
